Are real estate agents lowballing people in telling them the value of their homes?
Two homes in my neighborhood similar to mine sold for about 200k in the last year. Two agents have told me my home is worth between 175 and 180k. Could they be doing this either to make a quick sale or they know the appraiser will probably come in way low waht the house could sell for? Another house down the street is for sale again similar to mine. He was told he could get at least 190k maybe 205k if he’s lucky.

What is an average amount of houses viewed (per client) before the “right one” is found?
